The DMCA Policy for Zikpro Ltd

Legal Document
Last Updated On: 25 May 2026  |  Effective Date: 25 May 2026
This DMCA Policy applies to all content published on zikpro.com and to all digital materials created by Zikpro Ltd — a registered official Frappe/ERPNext partner in the United Kingdom.

1. What is DMCA and Why is it Important?

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a United States copyright law that describes the process online services must follow upon receipt of a copyright infringement complaint. Zikpro Ltd is a UK-registered company, but we work with digital content every day and we follow DMCA guidelines as our website is available worldwide.

At Zikpro, we create original content — whether ERPNext implementation guides, technical documentation, web copy or blog posts. We care about protecting that content. We also respect the intellectual property rights of others and treat all claims of infringement seriously.

This page tells you exactly what we do if there is a copyright issue — whether you are reporting something on our site, or someone has made a claim about content you believe is yours.

2. Our Content & Intellectual Property

All content appearing on zikpro.com is the property of Zikpro Ltd or is used with proper permission. This includes:

  • Written content — service pages, blog posts, case studies, ERPNext guides, and FAQs
  • Visual assets — logos, graphics, icons, banners, and web design elements
  • Technical content — custom ERPNext scripts, workflow documentation, and configuration guides
  • Marketing materials — email templates, proposals, and brochures developed by our team

No part of this content may be copied, reproduced, or republished — in whole or in part — without the express written permission of Zikpro Ltd. This applies to websites, social media, print materials, and any other medium.

⚠️ Important Note: Unauthorised use of any material on our website is monitored and investigated. If we find our content has been copied without permission, we will file a DMCA takedown notice with no prior warning.

3. Notice of Copyright Infringement

If you believe there is content on zikpro.com that infringes your copyright, please tell us. We take these reports seriously and will investigate all claims in a timely manner.

The best way to contact us is by email. Please forward your DMCA takedown notice to info@zikpro.com with "DMCA Takedown Notice" in the subject line.

Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will review it and — where the claim is valid — remove or disable access to the reported content within a reasonable timeframe. Where applicable, we will also notify the person who posted the content.

4. What Does a Proper DMCA Takedown Notice Look Like?

Your takedown notice must include the following items to be considered legally valid under DMCA guidelines:

  1. Your details — your full name, address, phone number, and email address. If you are representing a company or copyright holder, please state your authority to do so.
  2. Description of the copyrighted work — describe the original work you believe has been infringed. If more than one work is involved, please list them.
  3. Location of the infringing content — provide the specific URL(s) on zikpro.com where the infringing material appears, so we can locate it quickly.
  4. A good-faith statement — a written statement confirming that you believe the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement of accuracy — a declaration that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner, or are authorised to act on their behalf, under penalty of perjury.
  6. Your signature — a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or their authorised representative.

Delays may occur if notices are incomplete. Please check your notice against this list before sending it.

⚠️ Note: Filing a false DMCA Takedown Notice is a serious matter. Misrepresentation is actionable under Section 512(f) of the DMCA. Please only submit a notice if you have a genuine good-faith belief that your copyright has been infringed.

5. Filing a Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed from our platform by mistake or misidentification following a DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notice.

What to Include in Your Counter-Notice:

  • Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address
  • Identification of the content that was removed and where it was located before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your location or — if outside the United States — any judicial district in which Zikpro can be found
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Please send your counter-notice to info@zikpro.com with the subject line: "DMCA Counter-Notice."

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If they do not lodge a legal complaint within 10 to 14 business days, we may, at our discretion, restore the removed content.

6. Repeat Offender Policy

Zikpro has a strict zero-tolerance policy on repeat copyright infringement. We will terminate access to any user or account that repeatedly infringes the intellectual property rights of others, in accordance with the DMCA.

What counts as a repeat offender? Multiple legitimate DMCA takedown notices issued against the same user, project, or content. We look at each case on its own merits, but the policy is clear — deliberate, repeated infringement will not be tolerated.

7. Third-Party Content and Open Source Software

Zikpro specialises in building solutions on the Frappe framework and ERPNext platform, both of which are open-source projects released under the GNU General Public Licence (GPL-3.0). We use and adapt these tools in full compliance with their respective licences.

Any content, images, or code from third-party sources on our website is either licensed for commercial use, used with permission, or falls under fair use. If you believe we have used third-party content without proper authorisation, please contact us and we will review and remove it immediately.

Our site contains links to external platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Zikpro has no control over the content of those sites and accepts no responsibility for copyright matters relating to third-party sites.

8. UK Copyright Law & DMCA

Zikpro Ltd is incorporated in England and Wales and operates primarily under UK copyright law, governed by the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (CDPA). While the DMCA is a US law, we follow its framework as it is the globally accepted standard for resolving digital copyright complaints. Our clients span the UK, Pakistan, and 10+ industries worldwide.

For UK-specific copyright concerns, you may also contact the Intellectual Property Office (IPO) at gov.uk/ipo. We fully cooperate with all legitimate legal requests under both UK and international copyright frameworks.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may modify this DMCA Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services or changes in the law. Any updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date at the top. Please check back periodically — especially if you are a regular user of our content.

If you continue to use zikpro.com after an updated policy has been posted, you are agreeing to the revised policy.

10. Contact Our DMCA Agent

For any DMCA takedown notices, counter-notices, or copyright concerns, please contact us directly. We aim to respond to all DMCA-related requests within 2 to 3 business days.
