Here, you are able to search for particular BOMs by the Items (raw material or subassembly) they employ. This is particularly handy if you have a high number of BOMs and want to be able to rapidly ascertain where a specific Component is utilized.

You can type in the item code in the filter-by-search box, and the system will return a list of all BOMs containing the particular item, be it as a direct material or a component of a sub-assembly. This enables users to:

• Know what BOMs will be impacted when changing or phasing out a particular component.
• Study dependencies and cost contributions of raw materials on various finished products.
• Simplify engineering change procedures by finding all applicable BOMs in one place.

The report shows key information like:

• BOM Name
• Item Code
• Quantity Used
• Rate and Amount
• BOM Status (Active, Inactive, etc.)

The report greatly enhances visibility and control of BOM structure, enabling more effective procurement, design, and production planning decision-making.
