Interviews Round
A candidate must appear for a sequence of formal interviews as part of the recruitment and selection process. They are referred to as interview rounds. There is a single round for assessing the professional knowledge, cultural fit, or particular abilities of the candidate. For instance, you may have several rounds, including an initial screening interview, a technical skills interview, a behavioural or HR round, and, finally, a management or leadership discussion round.
The Interview Round Doctype of ERPNext allows you to define these steps in advance so that interviewers, recruiters, and hiring managers can conduct interviews and follow up on them in an organized manner. By defining Interview Rounds in advance, companies can standardize their hiring process, ensure that applicant assessments are transparent, and ensure that candidates are always assessed to the same level.
In order to create an interview round, perform the following steps:
1. Adding a new entry to Interview Rounds
2. Assign a short, descriptive title to the Round, say “Technical Evaluation – Backend Development.”
3. Select the interview type (panel, walk-in, virtual, or one-on-one) and, if desired, the Expected
4. Grant one or more Interviewers
5. To complete the Expected Skillset Table:
Click on Skill and enter the appropriate skills, for example, “Problem Solving,” “Python Development,” or “Communication Skills.” This allows interviewers to objectively rate candidates against established skills.
6. Complete setting up the Interview Round by clicking save.
You can assign interviews from the dashboard after the Interview Round has been saved
7. The assigned interviewers
It will be able to provide feedback and ratings on how the candidates performed. These ratings are stored in the profile of the candidate, so the hiring team can view how they performed in every round.
